how this hack-a-thon works?

1) I am looking for more details how this hackathon works. Whether we can find some project and start development nowiteslf? or we should wait for the day and pick some project from the bucket?

2) how we can select team. We can form a team nowiteslfe, or we should wait for the day to find a team?

    Project Problem Statements will be posted closer to the event. The hackers will be requested to pick an NGO project that they are interested in, during the day of the event. It is fine for you to form a team now, the team can collectively support an NGO project. It would be ideal to have the team support the project post hackathon until implementation.
